The things people ask us before they book.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form on our home page, or call or text us on 0467 351 663. Tell us the pickup and drop-off suburbs and what needs moving and we'll come back to you with a price.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, ideally 1–2 weeks ahead, especially at the end of the month and on weekends. We also do same day jobs when we have a truck free.
Do you offer packing?
Yes. We can pack your home or office for you, supply boxes and packing materials if you'd rather pack yourself, or give you tips to make it easier.
Do you move outside Darwin?
Yes. We cover Darwin, Palmerston and the rural area, and longer trips around the Top End. We also take on interstate moves by special request. Call us to talk through where you're heading.
What are your opening hours?
We don't keep a fixed timetable. Call or text any time, 7 days, and we'll find a time that suits your move.
What can't you move?
We can't transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids or perishable food. Ask us if you're unsure about a specific item.
Are you insured?
Yes. HR Carriers is insured, and our cover includes your goods during the move. Ask us if you'd like to know more about the cover before you book.
How is pricing determined?
It depends on how much you're moving, the distance, access at both ends (stairs, parking) and any extras. We give you the price before we start.
